Walli

I learned playing Walli, that's a pretty easy Dagbanli game which I think is comparable with Backgammon. You can play it easily everywhere you can find 48 stones, peanuts or whatever is available and handy to play with. Grab six holes on two sides each or use paper fields for it. Scatter four stones on each field. Begin with a random field, and redistribute the stones on the following fields contraclockwise. E.g. If you have begun in the last field on your side, you put each on the first four fields in your counter player's section of fields. If with your move either two or three stones in the other one's section are placed, you can collect them. Be smart and aware of the moves your opposite player does and think about your following step and have a lot of fun. It's training your brain a lot.
